Teach Them Well

STILLNESS IN THE STORM

As grandparents, and about to become great grandparents, we sit here shaking our heads over what is going on in our country right now. Our children and our grandchildren, are being “hijacked” by a group of people who want to make them “Oppressors.” And make kids of a “different color” or culture their “victims.” And these people are using our schools, school boards, and teachers’ unions as the weapon of choice.

If you are not aware of when this controlling idea started, we can’t tell you that but I (Barbara) can report that this evil underbelly trying to take over our education system has been going on for a long time.

In the 1970s, we were raising our children in a school system that boasted being in the top ten in the country.” I (Barbara) was given the honor of representing our elementary school on the “Parent Advisory Board” for our local Board of Education. This included monthly meetings where we were supposed to go over issues that were facing the school board and then guiding them which gave us absolutely no power – but, we thought that it gave us a voice.

Month after month, in our meetings we went over the same issues. Month after month, frustrated parents came to our meetings to point out issues that were never resolved. Finally, one month when a few of the actual school board members were with us, I spoke out in a calm way, asking when we were going to actually start discussing the needs of the children. One example that I used was convincing the elementary school officials where my 3 children attended, to purchase a case of books containing a new concept called, “Drawing on the Right Side of our Brain.” In the six years I had volunteered there, the box of books sat on the floor in a storage room. One time the box made it out into the hall, and I “imagined” the students were going to learn from them. That never happened, at least not while my children were there.

Back to that fateful meeting where I perceived that I spoke out for the Children. Again, I had asked, “When are we going to start discussing the needs of the children?”

The morning after this meeting I received a call from my children’s school office. The Principal wanted to speak with me and this morning was a good time for me to get in there. I immediately made my way to the school hoping I was going to be praised for getting our “committee” to take action. Instead, I was scolded for daring to cross the line. “Scold” is a polite word – actually I was “shamed” for daring to embarrass this Principal.

So, here it is, 50 years later and I (Barbara) want to talk here about “Shaming.” I want to shame any school board and teacher’s union that is still using their “position” to better themselves and neglect the reason why they are sitting on an education board – where are the needs of the children? Nowhere to be found! Or somewhere between the school board and the teacher’s unions. That “somewhere” doesn’t really exist anymore. The selfishness that is being displayed has a big representation politically. What was once a “school board” problem has now reached the national and international politics and been blessed by the CABAL.

The CABAL is supporting the transformation of our schools to turn out little socialist soldiers, who are becoming not just serfs, but ultimately slaves to and within the CABAL.

If you think we are exaggerating, come talk to some of our grandkids, that is the ones that will talk about it. We are actually more worried about the ones that won’t. The last time we tried talking to one of our grandchildren (a senior in college) he stormed out of our home and now keeps his distance. Another one of our grandkids who started at a University at the same time COVID hit is obviously depressed and doesn’t want to go back – and rightfully so. Our federal government has used the COVID PLANDEMIC to infiltrate our Universities and “crash” the system.

It’s time to speak up! We need to speak up locally. We need to go to school board meetings and be counted. Our education system is not here to brainwash our children. And if they think that’s their job and they won’t hear us – we need to pull our children out of public schools and home teach, or form “Pods” or even (listen up grandparents) help pay for the “good” private schools. Instead of our adult children receiving an inheritance after we die, let’s spend our money on our grandchildren’s education so they can learn to love America like we were raised all those years ago.

Remember when we said the Pledge of Allegiance in the morning. We did that first thing and it was a good way to start the day. We had an American Flag in every classroom. We learned Civics and Economics and we are using that knowledge every day of our lives.

Regardless of what our “Democratic Socialist” teachers are preaching right now, this is still the best country in the world to live in. If you don’t believe that – go visit Cuba, or Venezuela. In order for our kids to believe this, they need to learn Civics, learn the parts of our government that work for us so they can see the parts of our government that are bleeding us dry. And we need to teach them Economics because they (and we) need to be prepared, taught how to handle money without becoming a slave to our debts.

We also need to teach our youth about the real reasons we are here – to support our own growth, spiritually, emotionally and intellectually. We need to teach about supporting our loved ones and friends in their own spiritual, emotional and intellectual growth. We need to teach them about how bullying degrades the growth of our souls and how everything we give out, comes back to land on us.

Perhaps the Eastern concept of Karma is actually a global concept. What we give is what we get back, it’s the law of responsibility.

The Greatest Love of All

I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride
To make it easier
Let the children’s laughter remind us how we used to be…

(Michael Masser composer, and Linda Creed lyrics.)
